Holiday Needs

COVID Precautions: Donors and volunteers are asked to wear face masks at all times while in Welcome House facilities, to monitor yourself for symptoms prior to visiting, and to postpone your visit if you are sick. Thank you for your cooperation as we work hard to keep all Welcome House clients, staff, donors, and volunteers safe and healthy!

Give the greatest gift to a family in need! We need individuals and groups to adopt-a-family that is working through our program of services. This holiday program has THE BIGGEST IMPACT!  Each family breaks down their “wants” and “needs” on a form that is submitted to you. It is the expectation that you will be able to provide most of the needs, which are usually very practical items like clothing, shoes, towels, and sheets.

This is a great activity for groups!

Host a Giving Tree

Welcome House provides you with a list of needed items for a communal holiday tree that is in an organization, church, school, or other public space. All items collected help our clients transition into stable housing by making their new house a home.

Donate Craft Supplies

Bring on the DIY snowflakes and construction paper garland! Crafts help clients young and old unwind and feel a little holiday joy while sprucing up their space in our Shelter!

Organize Donations

As holiday donations come in, we’re in need of helping hands to sort donations in our pantry! This is a great individual OR small group activity!
