Are you associated with a company/organization that matches financial contributions their employees or affiliates make? Consider having them match your gift so that Welcome House can get double the benefit! Typically, a company will match an employee’s donation dollar for dollar. This means, if you donate $25 to Welcome House through your employer’s matching gift program, after your company matches the gift, Welcome House will receive a total gift of $50!
Locally, many companies and their employees support Welcome House in our mission to eradicate homelessness through participation in their matching gift program. For example:
BP will match employee gifts dollar-for-dollar from $25 to $5,000 per year through the BP Employee Matching Fund.
Home Depot will match individual associate gifts ranging from $25 to $1000 per charity, per calendar year on dollar-for-dollar basis for part-time and full-time associates.
The PNC Foundation will match contributions of all full-time PNC employees dollar-for-dollar from $50 to $2500 per calendar year for approved 501(c)(3) organizations.
Ameriprise Financial currently matches employee contributions to all eligible nonprofit organizations up to an annual maximum of $2,000 per employee.
The Foundation matches, dollar for dollar, the tax-deductible portion of donations made by employees (up to $35,000 per year) and retirees (up to $25,000 per year).
The Humana Foundation will match contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $100 per calendar year for approved 501(c)(3) organizations.
