Lindsay, 24, and her daughter Kyla, 2, showed up at the Welcome House Shelter for Homeless Women and Children with nothing but the clothes on their backs and Kyla’s favorite stuffed animal. Although Lindsay is young she has seen a lot in her short time on this earth. Living in an abusive relationship, hundreds of miles away from her family, Lindsay had nowhere to turn.
For 64 days, Lindsay and Kyla lived in our Shelter and after two months Lindsay found employment and secured a new home for her and Kyla. Today, Kyla has so much more than just her favorite stuffed animal, she has health, happiness, stability, and most important- a home.
Because of your generous donation, Welcome House of Northern Kentucky is able to get families home for the holidays, and throughout the entire year. Please consider giving to those most in need this season.
