Living the majority of their lives in Kentucky, Diane and Charlie Hammond have actively been a part of changing Northern Kentucky for the better. Charlie is a past board member for Welcome House and began volunteering when he retired six years ago. Diane followed when she retired three years later. Every Monday, Diane and Charlie devote their time and energy to our Emergency Assistance food pantry by assessing the needs of clients, filling food orders, referring individuals to appropriate services, and lending an ear to anyone who needs to talk.
In addition to their volunteer work at Welcome House, they volunteer together on St. Joseph’s Outreach Board. Diane is also the co-editor of the Voice of Villa Hills community paper and Charlie volunteers at the airport. In their spare time, Charlie and Diane enjoy traveling and spending time with their four children and seven grandchildren.
Welcome House and the clients we serve appreciate your time and energy. Thank you for all of your hard work! |
